A power bowl is a complete meal filled with simple, healthy ingredients. Ours begins with a base of hemp hearts, topped with carrots, wakame (seaweed) and cabbage. But it’s our flavorful carrot-ginger dressing that takes it to new heights. Chef Jen’s inspiration for this dish dates to her childhood, when she fell in love with the carrot-ginger dressing at a Japanese restaurant in her hometown—some things just stay with you. Best of all, no stove required! All you need is cool water to enjoy a delicious meal created by an award-winning chef, in the backcountry, on the road, or wherever life takes you.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Tear pouch open and REMOVEoxygen absorber.
  • Add a little more than 1/2 a cup (125ML) of COOL (yup, not boiling) water to pouch.
  • Mix well then REMOVE excess air from pouch. Reseal TIGHTLY.
  • LAY POUCH FLAT on one side and wait an additional 5 minutes. CONTEMPLATE… If stardust made us, are we cosmic glitter?
  • OPEN. STIR AGAIN. EAT. SMILE.
  • REHYDRATION time may VARY depending on water temp. It should have a slight CRUNCH!
